My story : bridging worlds through inclusive education
Hello, I’m Luisa Lobina-Lal, an experienced educator with 9 years in teaching, specialising in supporting children with special educational needs.
I bring three years of expertise from working in autism-specific settings, where I led science curriculum design and served as a senior teacher overseeing academic and therapeutic provisions for autistic young people.
My main teaching experience lies in Physics and STEM education, teaching Science from KS1 to KS5, as well as guiding in maths and English up to GCSE. As a Professional Development Lead (PDL) for STEM learning, I deliver diverse STEM learning CPD for educators.
With an MEd in the Psychology of Education, I apply my knowledge to support young people, especially those with diverse needs like autism, selective mutism, and SEMH. Having also worked at the local authority level, I have a track record of developing personalised provisions and collaborating in a multi-agency approach.
I offer consultancy for schools and individuals, assisting those facing challenges in their current educational settings. My proven strategies help students struggling to engage, fostering confidence and resilience. For educators, I provide insights and support for autistic young people in various settings, advising on inclusive curriculums.
Join me in creating an inclusive and empowering educational environment where every learner can thrive.
